  ‘ZIBAH NWAKO, Executive Director & CEO

Educated at the University of Benin in Nigeria and the University of Westminster in London, ‘Zibah holds a degree in Foreign Languages and a Postgraduate Certificate in Marketing. Her other qualifications include a Diploma in Childcare and Playwork, a Certificate in Life Coaching, a Licence in Women Development Training, as well as a Diploma in Theology.

Previously based in the United Kingdom for nearly 20 years, ‘Zibah’s career spans the education, childcare and personnel recruitment sectors. As part of her role as an Executive Officer at the British Council, she visited Eslöv in Sweden, where she researched the excellent Swedish education and childcare system that proved instrumental to her 8-year entrepreneurial success in setting up and running childcare centres.

In 2001, Ms ‘Zibah Nwako was asked to represent the London Borough of Croydon at a Downing Street Evening Reception to Celebrate “Excellence in Childcare”, hosted by Prime Minister Tony Blair & Mrs. Cherie Blair.

‘Zibah is currently a versatile Trainer and Life Coach. She is also a Trustee of Affirm Life Skills Foundation, a non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation for young people.

Passionate about empowering individual women to achieve their goals and reach their full potential in every area of their life, ‘Zibah became the First Licensed Trainer in Nigeria, West Africa of the internationally acclaimed “Springboard Women’s Development Programme”. She is also a pioneer trainer of “The Right To Be Me”. Zibah Nwako works between the UK and all over West Africa.

An avid reader, Zibah’s other interests are listening to music, enjoying “me” time, a deep commitment to Ministry work and spending quality time with her family.

Naarah Thomas graduated from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko with a diploma in Mass Communication.

A vivacious, proactive and result-oriented lady, Naarah is a Chartered Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), and is currently studying for a degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution.

She has vast experience in events management, media relations, speech writing and personality profiling.

A Compere and Mentor, Naarah speaks English, Igbo, Hausa and Efik fluently, as well as “un petit peu de Francais”! Her hobbies are Reading, Travelling, having Personal Time, Cooking and Writing.

  AFINIKI MANGZHA, Programmes Manager


Afiniki Mangzha is a dynamic trainer of both young people and adults in different area s of development. She holds a B.Sc. in Geography from the University of Maiduguri. Having attended trainings, conferences and workshops to equip herself and to get her to where she is now, Afiniki possesses a wealth of knowledge and is always ready to give out to others.

Afiniki was the first President of the Adolescent Girls Action Network in Nigeria; Deputy Senate President and Pioneer Member of the Nigerian Children’s Parliament.

She is a certified Trainer with LEAP Africa (Leadership), UNICEF (Peer Education), and Johns Hopkins (HIV and Reproductive Health).

Her interests include playing Volleyball, Reading, working with Children and Travelling.
